Benefits of firewalking

Today we are living in an age where the pace of change has never been faster, where pressure to perform has never been greater and where stress-related illnesses have rocketed to levels that are shocking the medical profession. By rising above the seeming chaos and by using our minds in a more productive and creative way we can perform at higher levels than we ever imagined possible.

To witness or participate in a firewalking ritual offers a chance to break limiting belief systems, and tools to make the shifts you want in your life. Whether you choose to walk or not at the end of the firewalking seminar, you will be changed for good.

It is one of the first lessons we learn as children: fire burns. Our fear of fire is a deep rooted belief, one of the core players in our belief system. When I walked the first time on red hot embers one of my core beliefs had been turned upside down, bringing all my other beliefs with it. My brain was struggling by witnessing these facts; the possibility of creating serious changes in my life. With my body, heart and soul I had actually witnessed what I knew was impossible. This shocking experience got my ego in big trouble. Our ego loves to be right, having things safe. Whenever something is not safe for our ego, it sends out fear to stop us from changing in any way that goes against its self image.

Having walked on fire many times I still feel that rush of fear as I step up to the fire. But I have learned to see fear as energy. We can all take the energy of our emotions like fear, pain, love, anger –any emotions- and by seeing them simply as energy we can use them to support us rather than hinder us on our path. Know that your limited belief system was inherited from your parents and influenced by society and may not necessarily be true. Discover that Fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) can be fun.

Knowing the secret behind firewalking can improve your life. Why? Because firewalking demonstrates how your thoughts impact everything else in your life. Thoughts change brain chemistry, and that results in an alteration of body chemistry as well. Firewalkers are instructed to pay close attention to their thoughts, since those very thoughts are the way in which we create our own realities. Positive thinkers literally live in a different chemical environment than negative thinkers. They impose less stress on their immune systems, and the result of that should be obvious.

The implications of mind in matter are truly exiting and can offer new hope to people with severe illnesses as well as anyone seeking to overcome limitation imposed by old beliefs: salesmen, students, athletes . . . . . . . the list goes on and on – it may even include you!
